AAAA launches mission to PRI 2012

Posted on 27 June 2012

It’s that time of the year again when we launch the PRI Mission for 2012.  Following the tremendous success of the 2011 mission, AAAA is offering members the chance to register in the Australian National Pavilion at the 2012 PRI Trade Show, which will be held in Orlando, USA, 29 November - 1 December 2012.

Performance Racing Industry (PRI) has an established position as the pre-eminent forum for the Performance Industry in the United States. It combines a focused trade show with supplementary industry networking and conference opportunities. It is the largest motor racing trade show in the world and attracts over 40,000 trade-only attendees from 72 countries. In addition to the US domestic market, buyers from emerging performance markets such as the Middle East, Russia and Asia are on site.

During his visit to Australia earlier this year, John Kilroy, Vice- President of PRI said “it was an outstanding opportunity for me to hear the stories of some great racing and performance companies located in Australia. Time after time, I saw how they belong in the US marketplace”.

Last year’s National Pavilion at PRI was the largest International Pavilion for the second year in a row and we are launching the 2012 mission with the expectation of filling our space allocation very quickly. With 360sqm of space allocated to this pavilion, it is expected to make another big impact. We have a number of companies that have expressed strong interest in this mission so we advise you to respond quickly to guarantee space.

We are still working with both the Victorian and New South Wales Governments to support this mission, a final decision is still about a month away.  We have requested that both State’s support the mission with rebates per eligible exhibitor of between $2000-$3000.
